A green pool is a chemistry, a filter, and a circulation problem, usually all three at once. Recovery is measured, not sold: we tell you before the first bag of shock whether it comes back or whether it drains.

Everything below is standard, not upsell. Anything outside this scope is quoted before it happens.

Initial assessment
Water tested, filter inspected, circulation confirmed. If the pool can recover, you get the plan in writing.

Filter service
Sand cleaned or replaced, cartridge scrubbed or replaced, DE grids inspected. A blind filter cannot pull algae.
03
Super-chlorination cycle
Shock dosed to the free-chlorine target the water actually needs, not to a bag count. Retested and re-dosed on a schedule until the water clears.

Algae brushing
Walls, floor, steps, and the light niche brushed to break up biofilm the chemistry can't reach through.
05
Full rebalance
Once the water is clear, chemistry brought back into range and handed off: either to weekly service or back to you with a written report.
Good to know
- Recovery is scoped in writing before any chemistry gets dosed.
- Some pools do not come back. When a drain-and-refill is the honest answer, we say so on the first visit, not the fifth.
