Pumps
What it is
The pump moves pool water through the filter and back to the pool. It runs on a schedule to turn the full volume of water over one to two times a day, which is what keeps the chemistry effective.
When to call
Existing pump is loud, hot, leaking at the seal, or the electric bill jumped after it ran continuously. Or the pool is new and the pad hasn't been built yet.
Our install
Sized to the pool's actual gallons and plumbing size, not a spec-sheet default. Variable-speed models are programmed on install. Unions on both sides of the pump so future service does not require a re-plumb.

Filters
What it is
The filter traps the debris the pump moves through it. Three types: sand, cartridge, or diatomaceous earth. Each has a different micron rating, a different maintenance cadence, and a different annual media cost.
When to call
Pressure gauge climbs faster than a backwash schedule can keep up with, or the water stays cloudy after a full chemistry rebalance. Media cost per year has crept above the price of a fresh cartridge.

Heaters
What it is
The heater extends the pool's usable season. Two categories: gas heaters (fast, higher operating cost) and heat pumps (slower to warm, much lower to run). Both raise water temperature to a set point.
When to call
Season is closing in September when it could be running through mid-October. Existing heater throws a fault code, will not fire, or has aged past the repair-vs-replace line.
Our install
Sized against surface area, target rise, and overnight ambient temperature. Gas: gas-line load verified against BTU draw, exhaust clearances observed. Heat pump: dedicated circuit run to the applicable NEC section, bonded to the pool's grid.

Salt chlorine generators
What it is
A salt system produces chlorine on demand by passing pool water through a cell that electrolyzes dissolved salt. The pool still runs on chlorine; the difference is the delivery method and the feel of the water.
When to call
Buying bags of chlorine every week feels like a chore, skin sensitivity to conventional chlorine is a problem, or the pool is being built new and the pad is being specced from scratch.

Automation
What it is
A pool automation controller runs the pump schedule, heater set point, valve positions, salt cell output, and lighting from one interface: typically a wall panel plus a phone app.
When to call
Managing the pad manually has become the job it was not supposed to be. Or the pool has a heater plus a salt cell plus lighting plus water features and the timer strip cannot coordinate them.

Configured after the mechanical install so schedules match the pump's variable-speed curve, the heater's warm-up window, and the salt cell's runtime. Home Wi-Fi joined to the controller at commissioning, remote access verified before handoff.

Lighting
What it is
Underwater LED lighting sized for the pool's volume and geometry. Color-changing capability is standard on newer fixtures; single-color white is still available where the look wants to stay quiet.
When to call
The pool is new and being wired from scratch, or the existing incandescent niche has failed and the swap-in slot is available for a color LED upgrade.

Fixture rated to the niche, transformer sized to the run length, GFCI verified at the pad. Bonding continuity checked on the niche and the coping.

Cleaners
What it is
An automated cleaner covers the pool floor, walls, and steps between service visits. Three drive types: suction (runs off the skimmer), pressure (runs off a booster pump), and robotic (self-contained, plugs into an outlet).
When to call
Weekly hand-vacuuming has become the way the pool gets cleaned, or the existing cleaner is not covering the walls and steps the way it used to.
