What we sell
Radiant pools by Latham
The Latham pool we sell is the Radiant: an insulated wall pool first built by Radiant Pools of Albany, New York, which is now part of Latham.
Every wall panel is 2 inches thick: a closed-cell foam core bonded between two sheets of acrylic-coated aluminum. The wall is 52 inches tall, and the same pool can go fully above ground, partly in the ground, or all the way in.

Why the insulation matters
Warmer water
Latham rates the panels at R-10 and says the water stays 5 to 10 degrees warmer than in an uninsulated pool, with about 30 percent less spent on heating and up to two more months of swimming each year.
Fits awkward yards
The pool can be set into a slope or a hill with no retaining wall.
Warranty
Latham covers manufacturing defects for 20 years, non-prorated, and the warranty carries over to the next owner if you sell the house.

Finishing
Coping, steps, lights and covers
Coping
Round, oval and lagoon pools take Latham’s 4-inch premium coping: a bullnose edge in light grey with two tracks inside, one for the liner and one for a winter cover. White is a special order. Rectangles use Latham’s Universal Coping, which finishes the pool above ground, part way in, or fully in the ground.
Steps
Above ground, an inside step sits under the liner and gives the pool an inground look. In the ground, there are vinyl-over step forms, which can include benches and tanning ledges, and 8-foot thermoplastic walk-in steps in radius and straight styles.
Lights
LED light kits are available for the pool wall.
Winter covers
Latham’s winter cover snaps into the coping track. A step flap extends it over a walk-in step.

A 52 inch wall in 4 inch interlocking aluminum panels, bent 90 degrees on both sides. Round or oval. It goes above the ground, part way into it, or fully into it, with no cement collar required.
